Navratha is considered to be the appropriate time for reciting Durga Saptashati, keeping Jamra and performing animal sacrifice. At other times also there is a crowd of devotees in this temple. Since it is located in the middle of the market, more people go here. Especially on Saturday, there is a large presence of devotees. The Kali idols of Rangeli and Biratnagar were brought from India at the same time.
