This Policy establishes the procedures through which users may request the removal, correction, restriction, or deletion of personal information provided to Nepal Guidify during the use of its services.

The purpose of this Policy is to provide a transparent mechanism through which individuals may request the deletion of their personal information maintained by Nepal Guidify, subject to applicable laws, legal obligations, and legitimate operational requirements.

2. Personal Information Covered

This Policy may apply to information including:

• Email address and telephone number;
• Account profile information;
• User-uploaded photographs and media;
• Business listing information submitted by users;
• Marketplace and directory information controlled by the user;
• Information collected through online forms;
• Authentication information associated with social login services.

3. Submission of Requests

Users may submit a written request seeking deletion of personal information associated with their account or activities on Nepal Guidify.

Requests should include:

• Full Name;
• Registered Email Address;
• Account Identification Information (if available);
• Description of the information requested for deletion;
• Proof of identity where reasonably required.

4. Identity Verification

Before processing any request, Nepal Guidify may take reasonable steps to verify the identity of the requester in order to prevent unauthorized deletion, modification, disclosure, or misuse of personal information.

Failure to provide sufficient information for identity verification may result in the rejection or suspension of the request.

5. Review of Requests

Upon receipt of a valid request, Nepal Guidify shall review the information requested and determine whether deletion, restriction, anonymization, or retention is appropriate under applicable laws and business requirements.

The Company reserves the right to reject requests that are unlawful, fraudulent, technically infeasible, or inconsistent with legal obligations.

6. Information That May Be Retained

Notwithstanding any deletion request, Nepal Guidify may retain information where retention is necessary:

• To comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements;
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activities;
• To investigate security incidents;
• To resolve disputes and enforce agreements;
• To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
• To comply with court orders or lawful government requests;
• To maintain necessary accounting, financial, and tax records.

7. User-Generated Content and Public Listings

Where permitted by law, Nepal Guidify may remove or deactivate business listings, marketplace content, directory submissions, or account-related content submitted by the requesting user.

However, information that has become publicly available through lawful means or has been independently reproduced by third parties may not be capable of complete removal.

8. Backup and Archived Information

Deleted information may continue to exist temporarily within backup systems, archival storage, disaster recovery systems, or security logs maintained for business continuity, regulatory compliance, and system integrity purposes.

Such information shall remain protected and shall not be restored except as required for legitimate operational purposes.

9. Third-Party Services

Users who registered or authenticated through third-party identity providers including Google, Meta (Facebook), Apple, or similar services may also be required to manage permissions and account data directly through those providers.

Nepal Guidify is not responsible for data retained by independent third-party service providers.

10. Processing Period

Nepal Guidify shall endeavor to review and respond to valid requests within a reasonable period, taking into account technical feasibility, legal requirements, and operational circumstances.

11. Limitation of Rights

Nothing contained in this Policy shall be interpreted as creating rights greater than those provided under applicable laws of Nepal.

All requests shall be processed subject to the Constitution of Nepal, Privacy Act, 2075, Electronic Transactions Act, 2063, and other applicable laws and regulations.

12. Amendments

Nepal Guidify reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this Policy at any time. Any changes shall become effective upon publication on the Website.
