Patan Multiple Campus (PMC), the only constituent campus of Tribhuvan University in the Lalitpur district, holds a distinguished place in Nepal's educational history. Established as "Patan Inter College" on 17th Bhadra, 2011 B.S. it was formally inaugurated on Bhadra 31, 2021 B.S. by His Majesty Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah then the crown prince of Nepal.

This institution is a testament to the unwavering dedication of visionary educationists who played pivotal roles in its foundation. Among them are notable figures like Prof. Mangal Raj Joshi, Prof. Asharam Shakya, Mr. Kamal Mani Dixit, Prof. Hem Raj Joshi, Mr. Indra Raj Mishra, Mr. Pradhumna Lal Joshi, Mr. Bhairab Bahadur Pradhan, Mr. Raj Bahadur Chipalu, and Laxmi Prasad Rima. Their tireless efforts laid the groundwork for what has become a cornerstone of higher education in Lalitpur, Nepal’s second-largest city in the valley.
