Lumbini International Academy of Science and Technology (LIAST) is affiliated to Lumbini Buddhist University. We believe in quality education and degrees of global standard. Learning by doing is our motto. With sense of responsibility to fulfil the national demand in engineering field, we a group of likeminded scholars and entrepreneurs from different walks of life have come up collectively with an academic pursuit to meet the growing need of quality manpower in the nation.

Our conviction is that the sky has no limits for the ones who are eager to acquire knowledge being an integral part of us. With the growing need of rapid development in the nation, there are some major scarcities of skilled and highly intellectual manpower. Majority of the youths and capable entities are not seeking correct and appropriate opportunities that contributes to the ongoing development process of the Nation. At Lumbini International Academy of Science and Technology (LIAST), we aim to provide the best quality education and guidance required to produce the best graduates in engineering and management skills that is efficient and optimal for every sector not only throughout the nation but also throughout the world.  The aim of the college is to develop leadership skills in the engineering area and learn how to plan and deliver complex engineering projects. This institution has been established to serve our society and country as well.

We are currently running M.Sc. in CEM (Construction Engineering and Management), and M.Sc. in DREM (Disaster Risk Engineering and Management). Having this qualification will demonstrate that you have the essential management abilities needed for senior positions.



Mission

LIAST aims to provide the qualitative engineering education to all over Nepal. Therefore, it has initiated new trend of live streaming of the class, so no students are left out and can attend the classes from any part of the globe. LIAST aims to facilitate each student so that they don’t miss a single lecture. Since at the master’s degree majority are already job holder not disturbing their professional life LIAST operates class at late evening- after office hour. At LIAST College we foster academic and career success through the development of critical thinking, effective communication, creativity, and cultural awareness in a safe, accessible and affordable learning environment that led to successful completion of degree.
