Kalikot Distribution Center

Manma-1, Khandachakra Municipality, Kalikot, Karnali Pradesh
087-440236

Kalikot Distribution Center, under the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), plays a vital role in providing reliable electricity services across the hilly and rural areas of Kalikot District in Karnali Province, Nepal. Established to manage power distribution and expand electrification access, the center ensures that households, schools, hospitals, and local businesses receive consistent and safe electrical energy. It operates 33 kV and 11 kV transmission lines, manages substations, and maintains a wide distribution network that reaches even remote villages of the region.

Beyond power supply, the Kalikot Distribution Center is deeply involved in rural electrification projects, voltage stabilization, and infrastructure upgrades to improve energy reliability. The center regularly conducts maintenance and emergency repair services, installs transformers, and works on line expansion projects to meet growing demand. It also coordinates with local governments and community representatives to plan and implement new substation projects and connect un-electrified areas under national energy development programs.

With its technical and administrative facilities, the Kalikot Distribution Center also provides customer service, billing and meter reading, and public complaint handling. As part of NEA’s long-term goal to electrify every household in Karnali Province, the center stands as a pillar of progress — powering development, enhancing living standards, and supporting local industries and education through continuous and sustainable energy delivery.
