Jajarkot Distribution Center
-0, Bheri Malika Municipality, Jajarkot, Karnali Pradesh083-430375
The Jajarkot Distribution Center, operated by the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), serves as a critical energy hub in the rugged terrain of Jajarkot District, Karnali Province. Strategically positioned to expand electricity access in one of Nepal’s most remote regions, the center manages the distribution of power through a network of 33 kV and 11 kV lines, substations, and low-tension feeders. It plays a vital role in powering homes, schools, health posts, and local businesses—contributing directly to the district’s development and digital inclusion.
As part of NEA’s Distribution System Upgrade and Expansion Project (DSUEP), the Jajarkot center is equipped with modern infrastructure including a 33/11 kV substation, load management systems, and emergency response protocols. It also coordinates with provincial offices for technical support and policy implementation. Beyond its technical mandate, the center engages in public outreach, promoting energy safety, conservation, and awareness. With ongoing investments and community engagement, Jajarkot Distribution Center stands as both a utility provider and a development partner—empowering the region through reliable electrification and infrastructure resilience.
