The Dailekh Distribution Center is a regional branch of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), responsible for managing electricity distribution in Dailekh District, located in Karnali Province. Functioning under the NEA’s Provincial Office in Surkhet, the center plays a critical role in ensuring reliable power supply across both urban and rural areas of the district. Its core responsibilities include maintaining power lines, transformers, and substations, as well as responding to outages, carrying out meter readings, and overseeing new service connections.
Due to the district’s hilly terrain and limited infrastructure, the Dailekh Distribution Center operates under challenging conditions. Seasonal road accessibility issues and dispersed settlements make service delivery complex, especially during the monsoon.
