The Hetauda Distribution Center of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) plays a vital role in ensuring a stable and efficient electricity supply across Chitwan, Makawanpur, and Sindhuli Districts. It manages power distribution, oversees electrical infrastructure, and provides essential customer services such as billing, technical support, and service upgrades. The center operates 400 kV, 220 kV, and 132 kV substations, strengthening transmission networks and minimizing outages. Additionally, it promotes energy efficiency, conducts safety inspections, and facilitates emergency power restoration to ensure uninterrupted service.
Beyond distribution, the Hetauda Distribution Center actively supports sustainable energy initiatives and responsible electricity usage. It works on load management to prevent overloading issues and assists in rural electrification efforts, ensuring even remote communities have access to reliable power.
