Adarsha Higher Secondary School was established by Krishna Prasad Koirala in the year 1986 B.S. It was the first school for general public in the period of Ranas. Most of the famous personalities in the eastern region have studied in this school. The great figures in Nepalese politics Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, Matrika Prasad Koirala are concerned to this school directly or indirectly. Even the Ex. Prime Minister of the interim government Girija Prasad Koirala was admitted in this school in 1990 B.S. for his school education.

Adarsha Secondary School Morang is located in Biratnagar, Morang. This secondary school is affiliated with National Examination Board ( NEB ) and offers plus two (10+2) programs. Adarsha Secondary School also offers Junior Computer Technician (15 months program) and Diploma in Computer Engineering program with affiliation from CTEVT. This school is running Junior Computer Technician program with following objectives:
